Aftek Consulting Engineering (Pty) Ltd is committed to the ongoing implementation of Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) and has been verified as a level 1 contributor and is 100% black owned. All our shareholders are actively involved in Aftek, by contribution to the technical and administrative duties within the company.

Our BBBEE initiatives ensure that we focus on and strive towards ongoing acceptance of equity amnesty, employment equity and management control. Our policies are implemented through:

The new appointment of individuals, where possible, that were previously disadvantaged and that have achieved a level of technical tertiary education, which ensures that they have the ability and determination to perform their duties and succeed.

In-house training will be provided to new appointments that are unlikely to have prior work experience in our relevant disciplines.

Through the consistent development of human resources, we are and will continue to place priority emphasis on experiential training, technical training and dedicated mentorship.
